The Well Becoming Church
A Place to Heal, Be Restored, and Become.
John 4:13–14 KJV
Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst;
but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
Welcome to The Well of Becoming Church
At The Well of Becoming Church, love is the foundation of everything we do.
We are a Christ-centered church with a heart to serve all of God’s children — no matter their background, past, struggle, story, or season of life.
We believe every person deserves to be treated with compassion, dignity, patience, and love. Whether someone is housed or unhoused, strong or weary, confident or broken, new to faith or returning to God, there is room for them at The Well.
Inspired by Jesus’ encounter with the woman at the well in John 4, we believe God meets people with truth, grace, and compassion. Jesus did not turn her away because of her story. He met her with living water, restored her dignity, and gave her a testimony.
That is our heart: to love people where they are, serve them with compassion, and help them become who God created
Our Mission
At The Well of Becoming Church, our mission is to serve people with the love, compassion, and dignity of Jesus Christ.
Our heart is to meet people where they are — whether they are hungry, hurting, tired, overlooked, rebuilding, or simply in need of prayer and community.
We believe ministry is more than words. It is showing up. It is feeding the hungry, encouraging the weary, praying with the broken, walking beside those who feel forgotten, and reminding every person that they still matter to God.
Inspired by the woman at the well in John 4, we believe one encounter with Jesus can restore a life, recover a voice, and release a testimony.
We exist to help people move from brokenness to becoming through healing, prayer, outreach, discipleship, and practical acts of love.
Worship, Prayer & Spiritual Growth
Prayer is at the center of who we are.
We believe healing begins in the presence of God, and transformation happens when people are strengthened in faith, truth, and community.

Homeless Outreach Leadership
Our Homeless Outreach is led by Deacon C.W. Kirkpatrick Jr., a faithful servant-leader with a heart for ministry, compassion, and community care.
Deacon Kirkpatrick leads with humility, consistency, and a genuine burden for those who are often overlooked. Through the outreach ministry, he is able to minister directly to individuals experiencing homelessness, offer encouragement, pray with those in need, help serve meals, and support the ongoing mission of restoring dignity to every person we encounter.
His leadership helps ensure that our outreach is not just about meeting physical needs, but also about reminding people of their value, their humanity, and God’s love for them.
Under his leadership, The Well of Becoming Church continues to serve the homeless community with food, prayer, encouragement, dignity, and practical support.

Peer Support Services
The Well of Becoming Church offers peer support services in collaboration with Aligned Behavioral Health.
Through this support, individuals are met with compassion, encouragement, lived-experience understanding, and practical guidance as they navigate life challenges, recovery, emotional wellness, homelessness, grief, transition, and personal restoration.
Our peer support approach is rooted in dignity, hope, accountability, and community. We believe people heal better when they are seen, heard, supported, and reminded that they are not alone.

Meet Pastor Michelle Kirkpatrick
Pastor Michelle Kirkpatrick is the visionary leader of The Well of Becoming Church, a Christ-centered ministry built on love, compassion, healing, restoration, and service to all of God’s children.
Pastor Michelle carries a deep heart for people who have been overlooked, wounded, rejected, forgotten, or made to feel as though their story disqualifies them from God’s love. Her ministry is rooted in the belief that one encounter with Jesus can restore dignity, awaken purpose, and help a person become who God created them to be.
With a heart for prayer, outreach, discipleship, and community transformation, Pastor Michelle leads with wisdom, compassion, and a servant’s heart. She is passionate about creating safe spaces where people can be seen, heard, loved, prayed for, and supported through both spiritual encouragement and practical care.
Her work extends beyond the walls of the church. Through outreach, feeding, peer support partnerships, women’s ministry, prayer calls, and community service, Pastor Michelle is committed to meeting people where they are and walking with them toward healing, hope, and restoration.
Inspired by the woman at the well in John 4, Pastor Michelle believes that Jesus still meets people in the middle of their story. He does not come to shame them — He comes to restore them, fill them, and send them forward with a testimony.
Pastor Michelle’s heart is simple: to love God, serve people, restore dignity, and help every person know that they still matter to God.
